Survey: Second Harvest Food Bank - Porsche Club Volunteers

Summer 2023, I had the pleasure of dedicating an afternoon to volunteering for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast TN, right here in Kingsport! I had the opportunity to assist in sorting and packing thousands of bags of food. It was truly a rewarding experience to contribute to such a worthy cause.

During the 2022 fiscal year, Second Harvest made a remarkable impact by distributing a staggering 13,369,324 million pounds of food. This incredible feat translates to approximately 11.1 million meals for individuals in need throughout Northeast Tennessee.

Personally, I spent four hours of my time lending a helping hand, joined by 20 co-workers who shared in the joy of making a difference. Not only did we have a great time, but we also left the warehouse with a sense of fulfillment. It got me thinking that this could be an excellent opportunity for our club members as well.

I wanted to check your interest in joining me for a similar volunteering opportunity at the Second Harvest Food Bank.

I will be selecting a weekday in 2024 that works for most of us. Rest assured, you are welcome to bring along anyone you'd like—family, friends, or any other Porsche enthusiasts who would like to contribute to this cause. Together, we can make a substantial impact.
