SCHWARZER BERG VI - A WEST VIRGINIA WEEKEND GETAWAY

FRIDAY TO SUNDAY – MAY 16 to MAY 18, 2025

RAIN OR SHINE

ABOUT THE EVENT

Join us for an unforgettable Weekend getaway to West Virginia, the state often called "almost heaven" for its rolling hills, scenic byways, and charming small towns. As the only state entirely within the Appalachian Mountains, West Virginia offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, making it an ideal destination for our Wilderness Trail Region weekend escape.

From the breathtaking New River Gorge to scenic hilltop views and fun driving roads, this weekend promises history, great food, camaraderie, free time to explore local attractions, and of course, lots of Porsche fun! Our HQ for this event will be in the surroundings of White Sulphur Springs & Lewisburg. We will be staying in the unique The Schoolhouse Hotel, a thoughtfully restored boutique hotel transformed from a historic 1912 High School. Expect first-class accommodations with a modern touch, friendly staff, and a relaxing atmosphere.

In the evenings, unwind at The Rooftop bar, featuring handcrafted cocktails, wines, and small plates, or dine at The Varsity Club, where upscale southern classics like shrimp and grits await. Enjoy stunning views of the mountains and surrounding town as we gather and relax after our day of exploring.

Carved by the rivers of the Greenbrier Valley, West Virginia’s driving roads are filled with natural beauty—rolling hills, tree-lined tunnels, and scenic springtime blooms at their peak. Over this Friday-to-Sunday weekend, expect to cover about 650 miles of exhilarating driving. For those joining us, we’ll depart from Bristol, VA on May 16th at noon, but if you prefer, you can meet us directly in White Sulphur Springs, WV.

Schwarzer Berg VI is more than a weekend trip—it’s a chance to strengthen friendships and create cherished memories with fellow club members. As we finalize details, you can expect minor adjustments to the schedule, but rest assured, every aspect—from route planning to restaurant reservations—is being meticulously prepared to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all.

This is a driving event, not a Bingo-night! You MUST RSVP using the form below to attend this event.

Where are you driving from?

Select your FREE T-Shirt (included with your entry fee. You can order extras when you submit this form) *

What hotel are you staying? *

Let us know what is your preferred driving pace (select each of them to read a detailed description of the pace) *

- CRUISING+: Ideal for those who prefer a mixed of relaxed & some closer to moderate-pace drive. Imagine a weekend drive with family, where you can fully enjoy the views and take in the beauty of the mountains at a comfortable pace. This pace is perfect for drivers of all skill levels who want to experience the outdoors in a laid-back, leisurely way. Cruising pace is recommended for those familiar with the guidance of Leo on previous WTR events.

- TOURING: For those who enjoy a balanced blend of relaxed and lively driving, the Touring Group offers a mix of both. Expect a moderate+ pace with stretches of more enthusiastic driving that can add a bit of excitement to the journey. Touring is for drivers looking for a moderately challenging experience on curvy roads while ensuring passengers stay comfortable and the focus remains on the scenic journey. Touring pace is recommended for those who've driven under the guidance of Jeremy Stanley or Christian Miller on previous events.

- ENTHUSIASTIC: Designed for experienced drivers who crave a faster, more brisky pace. This group allows participants to enjoy a brisk but safe drive, stretching their car’s legs on twisty routes and taking on the mountain roads with confidence. Enthusiastic Pace is recommended for those familiar with Wilderness Trail events, especially if you've driven with Group 1 under the guidance of Daniel Thompson, Josh Hayes or Ryan Elswick.

We recommend starting in a conservative group and moving up if comfortable. Many switch to a slower pace, so feel free to ask if you’d like to adjust your group during the weekend. We’re here to ensure you have the best experience!

Are you bringing a minor to this event? *
