Join Us for an Epic Mountain Drive – Sunday, June 29!

We’re wrapping up an incredible Porsche weekend with a scenic and twist-filled drive on Sunday, June 29, and you’re invited!

This drive comes right after our Porsche-only Car Show “Revved for Rescue” at Tennessee Hills Distillery on Saturday, June 28. If you haven’t RSVP’d for that yet, check it out here:

🗺️ Sunday Drive Details:

We’ll meet at 8:30 AM at the Bristol, VA Rest Area (Mile 1 on I-81). From there, we’ll cruise 25 miles on I-81 before diving into some of the most thrilling and scenic mountain roads in the region.

🔹 First stop: Hayter’s Gap, a road so curvy it makes the Tail of the Dragon feel like a warm-up lap!
🔹 Next up: The Channels Natural Area Preserve—721 acres of stunning rock formations, cliffs, and forests.
🔹 Then a quick pit stop in Rosedale, VA, before climbing VA-80 toward our lunch destination…

🍽️ Lunch at the Breaks Interstate Park, aka the “Grand Canyon of the South,” where we’ll enjoy a meal and visit one of the park’s 7 overlooks with spectacular mountain views.

After lunch, the fun continues as we cruise over Baldwin Mountain, then head south on US-460 toward Tazewell, and tackle the iconic Back of the Dragon (VA-16)—438 curves of Porsche perfection! We’ll finish in Marion, VA.

8:40 AM – Drivers’ meeting
8:50 AM – Departure
10:00 AM – Rest stop @ Valero
10:20 AM – Resume drive
11:20 AM – Arrive at Breaks Park for lunch
12:45 PM – Visit overlook
1:10 PM – Resume drive
2:15 PM – Rest stop @ Food Lion
2:35 PM – Back on the road
4:00 PM – Final stop @ Marion Citgo/Ingles (restroom & farewell)
