JOIN US FOR A SCENIC GROUP DRIVE ON JUNE 14TH!

Get ready for an unforgettable day on the road with your fellow Wilderness Trail Region PCA members! We’ll be meeting at 9:00 AM at the top of South Holston Dam to kick off a thrilling group drive packed with scenic views, twisty roads, and Porsche-driving excitement.

Our route will take us through both legendary sections of The Snake—first from South Holston River to Shady Valley, then on to Mountain City, where we’ll make a quick U-turn and head back through Shady Valley for our first stop at the Country Store. From there, we’ll take a beautiful shortcut via Iron Mountain to our final destination (for lunch):

Villa Nove Vineyards – “Tuscany in Tennessee”

Nestled in the hills near Watauga Lake, Villa Nove Vineyards offers a stunning setting for a relaxing lunch. You'll enjoy a prix fixe menu featuring wine tasting, shared charcuterie, and individual panini sandwiches. Not into wine? No worries—they’ll also offer beer and Italian sodas.

Menu Per person:

5 Pour Wine Tasting of either Villa Nove or Watauga Lake Wine or Beer, Italian Soda, San Pellegrino Sparkling Water
Charcuterie Per Due (shared by 2)- 3 Italian Meats, 3 Cheeses, nuts, fruits, flatbread
Panini – Choice of either
- Sicilian (salami, mozzarella, tomato, basil, olives. olive oil)
- Caprese (tomato, mozzarella, roasted red pepper, basil, balsamic, olive oil)

Price PP is $35 + 18% Gratuity

9:00 AM – Meet at South Holston Dam
9:15 AM – Driver’s Meeting
9:20 AM – Wheels rolling
10:10 AM – Regroup at Mountain City Church
10:20 AM – Resume drive
10:40 AM – Restroom stop at Shady Valley Country Store
11:00 AM – Back on the road
11:30 AM – Arrive at Villa Nove Vineyards for lunch
1:30 PM - Head back home (no longer PCA event)

While the official PCA portion of the event ends at lunch, those craving more curves can take The Snake back to the Bristol area for a spirited return drive.
