For over 60 years, the Porsche Club of America has been dedicated to enhancing the Porsche ownership experience. No matter what your interest – social, technical, or competitive – PCA has something to offer every Porsche owner.

Porsche Club of America

We know the unbridled joy that owning a Porsche can provide, and we’ve built a community around that very feeling. The Porsche Club of America offers driving experience, technical assistance, member benefits, and camaraderie second to none. Over the years, our club has grown to 145 Regions across North America. We guarantee there is a PCA Region near you filled with friendly Porsche fanatics.

We race each other, show our prized possessions, conduct rallies, autocrosses and tours. The Club sponsors driver education, restoration and technical sessions. We know our Porsche, or Porsches if we’re lucky, inside and out. We even have an award-winning magazine, Porsche Panorama, which tells our stories and provides an insider view to everything Porsche.

The Porsche experience reaches across the cars and the years to people, binding together the family whose name the cars bear, the men and women who design and build them, and those across the world who drive and cherish them.

If you’re as obsessed as we are, join our club today. The road awaits.

The Wilderness Trail Region Porsche Club of America became an official branch in July 9th, 1978. It all started with a petition that was circulated to determine the interest in forming a new P.C.A. region in the Kingsport area. At a meeting in April, the proposed region was named the Wilderness Trail Region and eight persons were selected to serve as the first Board of Directors.

On June 8, 1978, a proposal was read to the Board of Directors of Smoky Mountains region petitioning them to indorse the establishment of the Wilderness Trail Region which included the Tennessee counties of Sullivan, Washington, Hawkins, Greene, Johnson, Hancock, Unicoi, and Carter. The Board could not have been more cooperative and receptive and passed the proposal by unanimous vote.

A letter to the President of First Settlers Region requesting the relinquishment of the Virginia counties of Lee, Scott, Wise, Washington, Dickenson, Buchanan, and Russell brought the same hoped for cooperation and endorsement of our region.

Len Turner had offered to present the petition to the Executive Council meeting at the parade in Aspen, Colorado. A packet of information including several letters, proposals, responses, petitions and maps was mailed to him and to Mick Williams, P.C.A. President. The petitioners’ efforts were rewarded a few weeks later by a phone call advising that the petition was accepted and the charter has been granted. It was official: the Wilderness Trail Region is for real!
